I do enjoy making the buildings for the railway and found this quite an easy job because of the large scale, a visit to Bekonscot gave me some good ideas.

Hi Geoff,
I have built a few experimantal buildings for the garden using 5mm ‘Foamex’ PVC board. It’s very easy to cut and glue with uPVC superglue. It takes paint well and has lasted about 5 years outdoors with no deterioration. Mine are 1/32 scale for Gauge One, but can be any size.
